Another great winter of riding has come and gone and it’s time to move on to our summer hobbies. But before you dust up the dirt bike, make sure you prep your sled for summer storage so it will be good to go when the snow flies.

Benham takes semi pro final at Deadwood C&A Pro Skis

Record crowds and beautiful weather is what was in store for the Snocross fanatics at day two of the US Air Force Deadwood Snocross event at the Days of ’76 Sports Complex. With Rounds 7 & 8 proving to be pivotal rounds in the points championships, racers and teams worked hard to put on an unforgettable show for the fans. In the Pro Lite class Daniel Benham would continue his event podium streak and earn the victory in Round 8. Kody Kamm and Tucker Hibbert put on an epic battle here in the Black Hills but tonight the advantage went to Hibbert. Tucker Hibbert snocross racingTucker Hibbert has been raving about the new ZR 6000R SX since first testing the proto build last spring. On Saturday night the new ride helped T-Train deliver a knockout counter-punch to Kody Kamm’s Dominator win on Friday, as he quickly moved to the front of the Pro final and went on to a four and a half second win. Kamm gave pursuit early and stayed close for the first half of the race before admitting to not having Hibbert’s pace and settling for the runner-up spot.

Lincoln Lemieux was running down the front pair late in the going and moved from fifth to third at the finish with Kamm in his sights.

Hibbert’s victory was one of many for the new Cat with Travis Kern claiming the top spot on the Pro Lite podium after struggling with the  machine, and his health, for the better part of 2016-17. Kern capitalized...
