USXC Warroad 200 in the books

The 2016 Seven Clans Warroad 200 is in the books. Near perfect conditions greeted 130 racers for 2 days of competitive terrain racing.

In Pro Stock & Pro Open, C&A Pro Sponsored rider Zach Herfindahl set a blistering pace, dominating both classes. Justin Tate on a Polaris ran a season best taking second in both classes. In Pro Stock, Semi Pro riders Ryan Trout, Taylor Bunke & Alex Hetteen ran very respectable 3rd, 4th and 5th.

Competition in Expert 85 has been extremely tight all season with just seconds separating the top 4. Brandon Wolter came out on top with Ean Voight a close second, Ross Illstrup 3rd, and Hunter Houle 4th, all on Arctic Cat machines.

Semi Pro rider Ryan Trout had the best overall time with Polaris rider Taylor Bunke a very close second. Alex Hetteen, grandson of Polaris founder Alan Hetteen is quickly becoming one of the top riders in USXC, winning the I-500 class on his Polaris Axis. Ski Doo rider Jim Sobeck owns the over 50 class, dominating one more time. Jim proves you don’t have to be young to run competitively and have fun.
